Students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite book characters & participate in activities based on the nominated books from the Children's Book Council of Austraila's  Book of The Year Awards each year.

A highlight each year, and a very close guarded secrect, is the school's staff dress up theme.  This is kept quiet each year right up untill our Book Parade kicks off.

As part of our schools celebration, we host a book fair shop. This is where the Scholastic Book Club catologue comes to life on the shelves at our school. Families and the broader community can come along to browse and purchase books at our school book fair. The Book Fair is a fundraiser for the library to help to purchase new books for the students.
