Enrolling your child at Mount Beauty Primary School is an important step in their education journey. To help you make this decision, we recommend you contact the school to book a tour and come along to our community events and open days throughout the school year. A tour and conversation with the Principal will give you and your family the opportunity to find out about the school and answer any questions you may have.
If you would like to enrol your child at Mount Beauty Primary School, you will need to:
- Complete our enrolment form. The enrolment form requests important details such as names and addresses of the child and parents, guardians and carers; parent contact details; names and contact details of emergency contacts nearby; doctor and dentist names and phone numbers; health and welfare information (for example, does your child have asthma, diabetes, allergies, poor eyesight or hearing, specific custody arrangements). You may download a copy of our enrolment form below.
- Provide a Certificate of Immunisation. All students enrolling require a School Entry Immunisation Status Certificate or a conscientious objection form. Parents and carers can obtain appropriate certificates from the local council, their doctor, or the Australian Childhood Immunisation Register and must present a copy to the school.
- Present a Birth Certificate or passport as evidence of your child’s date of birth. Children who are 5 years of age on or before 30 April of the year they start school are eligible to attend. Children who have already commenced their schooling will also need to provide formal identification.
Following enrolment at our school, we prepare a smooth transition process for your child and family as you join our school community.
