Snowsports Program

Our Snowsports Program for 2026 is planned to commence at the end of Term 2, running for 3 weeks.  We hope to enjoy another early snowfall this year, and give our students a chance to experience all the train based on their skill levels. 

Our year 5/6 students are able to select either downhill skiing or snowboarding for 3 professional lessons. Based on the students skill level a trained snowsports instructor from Falls Creek Snowsports will run through the basics right through to advanced lesson plans.


Our cross country skiing program is open to students in years 3-6.  Our lessons are supported and provided by Falls Creek Cross Country and Howmans Gap.  Students are able to undertake 3-4 days within this program, suitable for all skill levels and abilities.  We are, if need, able to adapt the program to include any students that may face a disablity to insure each student is able to enjoy our mountains.

These invaluable programs can lead on to students wanting to participate in Snowsports Interschools, the Joey Hoppet, local to Falls Creek comptitions such as Rudi Pendl Cup, Wombats Rambler Race, Summit Masters, Father Foster's Mini Pipe Masters and more.
